What Are Dental Implants?

What have you heard about dental implants? Have you ever heard that many procedures require two visits to complete? Do you struggle with the concept of missing work for a treatment that could be painful and uncomfortable? Or for visiting our team for an appointment that could take two visits? Fortunately, if you struggle with any of these ideas, please note that our team may be able to treat some issues more quickly and efficiently than was possible in the past.

With modern dental techniques, you could have a dental implant or a crown placed in a single visit. There are several factors that could contribute to this increased speed, including improved techniques, computer imaging, and other innovations.

However, please note that it won’t always be possible to place your implants in a single visit. Still, once your implants are placed, they will look and feel like a natural tooth for years to come—especially once your implant has completely fused with your jaw bone. Because implants fuse to your jawbone, they are the most sturdy and natural-feeling restoration available.

Do you have more questions about the benefits of a dental implant? Are you interested in learning more about your restoration options? If so, we invite you to give Dental Art Concepts PLLC a call at (718) 313-4343. Our dentist, Dr. Matthew Scaffa, and our team will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
