Our Team

For over 25 years Donna has worked at our practice as a registered Dental Assistant and Patient Experience Coordinator. She strives to help our patients keep their mouths healthy and bright. It has been wonderful for her to see Dr. Scaffa’s lifelong patients grow with this practice – patients that were children when they first started coming to our practice are now parents themselves. She is proud to work at the office and has become friends with many of Dr. Scaffa’s patients over the years.
 

Donna is married to her husband, Matthew, and they have three children, Christopher, Dominic, and Anthony. In her free time, she enjoys drawing/coloring and writing poems and short stories.

Since 2019 Lisa has assisted Dr. Scaffa and the hygienists in providing excellent care to our patients. Her passion for helping others is clear for all to see due to her warm and welcoming personality. Whether she is assisting the hygienists with periodontal probing or sterilizing the instruments, Lisa keeps the back office flowing.

Before she was his assistant, Lisa and her family were patients of Dr. Scaffa’s for over 20 years. Her dedication to not only him, but to our practice and patient’s is unmatched. Lisa frequently says Dental Art Concepts is her family away from family and strives to ensure patients feel the same.

When she is not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys shopping (especially at Ulta).

Kristen joined Dr. Scaffa’s team in 2022 as his dental assistant. She has a reputation for her impeccable bedside manner. Kristen provides Dr. Scaffa with the tools needed to provide our patients with excellent service and strives to ensure our patients are comfortable and relaxed.

In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants with family and friends, as well as watching the New York Yankees and going to the games with her boyfriend.

Taylor has over ten years’ experience in insurance and has received a certificate in medical billing and coding from Sanford Brown Institute in Iselin, New Jersey recognizing her skill and knowledge in this field.

A member of Dr. Scaffa’s team since 2021, she is very passionate about ensuring patients receive their full allotted benefits as per their insurance policy. Whether she is filing an appeal with an insurance company, verifying insurance, or following up with patients on unscheduled treatment, Taylor is patient centric.

On her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, vacationing with her husband and watching reality TV shows.

A graduate of Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey, Christopher has achieved a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a masters in Sustainable Studies and Design. 
 

In 2015 Christopher joined Dr. Matthew Scaffa’s team. From fixing equipment to creating financial treatment plans, he is our go to man. An expert in calculating insurance benefits and patient responsibilities, Chris is excellent at working out financial plans to meet patients’ needs and expectations.
 

Chris has enjoyed building relationships with patients throughout the years. He loves watching the practice thrive and participates in multiple seminars and workshops yearly to refine his skills and deliver our patients with top-tier experience.
 

On his free time, he enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors with his wife, and watching Star Wars movies.

A graduate from Eastern International, Jersey City, New Jersey, where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene; Alexa joined our practice in 2024. Her goal is for every one of her patients to feel comfortable from the minute their appointment starts by offering her full attention, compassion and understanding to all her patient’s questions and concerns. It is also important to her that she educates her patients on home health care.
 

Alexa is highly trained in performing Zoom teeth whitening (ask to see before and after pictures!) as well as educating her patients about the oral health benefits of Invisalign® and customized night guards.
 

In her free time, Alexa enjoys trying new restaurants in New Jersey, hanging out with family and friends, as well as working out at the gym and taking fitness classes.

Huda is a graduate of City Tech, Brooklyn New York where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2020. She has been a part of our team since 2024. Her goal as a dental hygienist is to educate patients on how to maintain healthy and confident smiles.
 

Huda is certified in administration of nitrous oxide analgesia and administration of local anesthesia. To ensure that she is well informed and up to date with the arising technologies and procedures in dentistry she completes 24 Continuing Education (CE) hours every three years.

During her free time, Huda enjoys trying different coffee shops with her sisters around the tristate area, reading, and watching thriller movies.
